Jobbies.co.za will not sell, share or rent any user information to any third party apart from as described in this privacy policy unless it is required to comply with applicable laws or valid legal processes or to protect the rights or property of Jobbies.co.za.

During registration, all users are required to provide the following basic contact information in case Jobbies.co.za needs to contact the user:
First name, Surname, Email address, Cell number & Fax number if applicable. Employers & Agents also need to provide a Company name & Website URL if applicable. The Email address & Cellular number may validated during registration.

In order to facilitate employers and agents in finding suitable candidates, Job Seekers are required to provide the following typical profile information in their online advert:
Current Job Level, Highest Qualification, Employment Equity Status, Date of Birth, Current Location (City & Province), Willingness to Relocate, Type of Employment (Permanent, Temp etc), Desired Job Title, Target Annual Salary & Availability to start. To complete the online Resume, for viewing by Employers & Agents, Job Seeker may upload a small portrait photo before providing the following additional information:
A custom title for the advert with a short self description, listing two or three competencies & core characteristics, career objectives, language abilities, education history, employment history (optional), skills list (optional), any special achievements (optional) & most recent references if applicable.

In order to facilitate Job Seekers in finding suitable Job Offers, Employers & Agents are required to provide the following searchable information:
Employment Equity Requirements, Employment Type (Permanent, temp etc), Job Level (Manager, Executive etc), Annual Salary Range (Min & Max) & Education Level Required for the position.
To complete the Job Offer advert, Employers/Agents may upload their company logo, but must provide a suitable Title for the advert, Job Title, Job Description, List of Company Benefits & Experience Requirements for the position.

The “Tell A Friend” feature on the home page launches the users default mail client such as Outlook, providing the user with total control of the content of the email. The “Send To Friends” link at the bottom of Job Offers merely forwards the advert to the email address provided. In both cases, the email address is not stored.

The site uses cookies for computer recognition session control. A cookie is a short code of data that is saved on the user’s computer for the website to recognize the user so that the user does not have to keep logging in during the same session. Once the user exits the system, the cookie terminates unless the user has specified that it remains present in his/her user preference settings, in which case it will not be necessary to login upon returning to the site days later.
